New Samurai Exhibit at the MFA

Come discover the life and culture of Japanese warriors at the Museum of Fine Arts today. “Samurai! Armor from the Ann and Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Collection” features armor and weapons used by samurai from the 12th through 19th centuries. 

The exhibition features more than 140 objects from the Ann and Gabriel Barbier-Mueller collection, which is one of the largest collections in the world.  Highlights include full suits,horse armor, and accoutrements used for both battle and ceremonies.

Free admission to the MFA is available on Wednesday nights after 4 pm for everyone and on select holidays. You may also receive free admission if you bring in your Bank of America card during the first weekend of every month.
