Beacon Hill with a BOO!

Posted by Katie Beth Clark on Sun, Oct 28, 2012

With Halloween just around the corner, it is time to start planning the big day! If you aren't into drunken boat rides, dreadful traffic on your car ride to Salem, or scary movies then the Beacon Hill Halloween walk may be something for you to consider. You will be able to hear plenty of ghost stories that haunt (or so rumor has it) this popular Boston neighborhood. As you walk through you can enjoy the Halloween decorations and the company of people who come to Beacon Hill every year to celebrate.

"This Halloween event highlights Beacon Hill's rich heritage of mystery and suspense. See the home of the murdered George Parkman and learn what happened to his dismembered body. See where the Quakers were hanged and famous men buried, and many more scenes of the macabre."

Sounds like a pretty lovely evening if you ask me! Don't forget your costume.
