Cultural Survival BazaarThe Cultural Survival Bazaar will be heading to Copley Square on June 15th from 10am-6pm. 


The Cultural Survival Bazaars are a series of cultural festivals that allow artists and their representatives to showcase artwork such as clothing and jewelery from around the world. The Bazaar also offers entertainment including life music, storytelling and films for the public to enjoy. The purpose of this event, and the Cultural Survival team, is to helps bring awareness and understanding of remote cultures around the world in hope to strengthen their communities and human rights within them. 


The mission of the the Cultural Survival Bazaar Program  is to "strengthen Indigenous cultures by providing a venue for the sale of art and crafts made by Indigenous artisans throughout the world. The sale of crafts perpetuates the artistic traditions which are culturally significant to many Indigenous communities, provides capital to Indigenous communities, and provides sustainable income to individual artisans and their families.  
 
Since 2006, the Cultural Survival Bazaars have generated over 3 million dollars for Indigenous artisans, performers, fair trade, and other projects benefiting Native communities worldwide. 
For 40 years Cultural Survival has partnered with Indigenous communities around the world to defend their lands, languages, and cultures."
