Get it while you can! Participating Ben & Jerry's locations will be giving out free ice cream until 8pm today!
Locations include The Prudential, Newbury Street and the Park Plaza Hotel location. Ice cream flavors include classics like AmeriCone Dream, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Chocolate Peanut Buttery Swirl. The Free Cone Day also allow fans to try some new flavors such as Salted Caramel Blondie and Hazed and Confused.
"The Huffington Post notes that Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day first came about when founders, Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, 'had just survived their first year of running a business.' They were looking to thank their community by giving everyone ice cream and thus, Free Cone Day was born. 35 years later, fans are still reaping the free cone benefits and indulging in plenty of special Ben & Jerry’s flavors."
