About Josh:
Josh is a Realtor with an extensive institutional network and deep community knowledge, which he developed while working in Boston politics and government. Josh is a consummate and successful professional, ranking in the top 20% nationally among his Realtor peers in sales.
For nearly two years, Josh worked alongside Charlesgate’s managing and founding partners as the team’s listing coordinator, where he managed 57 seller transactions, and Buyer Specialist.

BACKGROUND
Prior to joining Charlesgate, Josh was a project manager for a publicly-traded multi-national company in Boston, then jumped into the world of politics and government. He directed legislation and budget matters in a Massachusetts State Senate office, then managed State Treasurer and former Democratic National Committee Chairman Steve Grossman’s political committee. He is a member of the Massachusetts Democratic State Committee, and former chair of the Boston Ward 5 Democratic Committee. In 2013, he unsuccessfully ran for state representative in a Boston/Cambridge special election, but enjoyed much support from Boston’s and Cambridge’s business and labor communities. He was even endorsed by the Boston Globe.
In 2013, he served on the Greater Boston Real Estate Board’s Government Affairs Committee. He is a member of the National, Massachusetts and Greater Boston Association of Realtors.
Josh received his B.A. from Ohio Wesleyan University, double-majored in Politics & Government and French, was a two-time football letterman and Sigma Chi Fraternity president. He studied abroad at the University of Paris IV Paris-Sorbonne and speaks French. He is enrolled in the Business Foundations Course through the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
Josh and his wife Lindsay, a speech pathologist in the Newton Public Schools, live in Allston’s “Green District” with their daughter, Ila, and rescue dog, Brutus. In his spare time, Josh enjoys spending time with his family, friends, fly-fishing Boston Harbor, and boxing.
