Alex is a lifelong Massachusetts resident who came to Boston in 2006 and obtained a BS Civil Engineering at Northeastern University. As an undergraduate, Alex lived in many neighborhoods including Back Bay, South End, Allston, Cambridge, and Jamaica Plain. Having experienced the Boston metropolitan area for the past 6 years, he has become very familiar with the opportunities within each locale. From a background as a land development engineer, part-owner of a local cafe and being a community board member for his neighborhood, Alex has a deep appreciation for the city he calls home and hopes to help others find their slice of Boston. In his free time, he can be found cycling around the city to find new restaurants, gardening in his community plot, or skiing in northern New England. He has been an avid cyclist for the past 10 years and participates in various cycling events and charity rides such as Harbor To The Bay, Bike MS : Ride the Vineyard, and the monthly Boston Critical Mass.
