This is obviously an incomplete tax picture (only income tax) but it's a nice graphical representation.  I guess that $1M swing could really suck for the 1 in 1000 Americans who earn more than $2.87M each year.

I am more than willing to pay a fair share but all I'm asking (no, wishing) is that leaders will step up in the White House or in Congress and actually find a way to reduce spending and stop WASTING my money (and yours).  Let's balance a budget, and stop crippling future generations with unnessary debt.  But, of course, that will never happen.
