"The Somerville Garden Club was founded in 1994 by a group of Somerville residents to promote home gardening as well as the horticultural possibilities of Somerville’s public spaces."
The Somerville Garden Club holds meetings about once a month to discuss gardening tactics and concepts. On Wednesday, April 9th, the meeting's focus is Edible Landscape Design. The meeting will be held from 7-9pm at the Tufts Administration Building.
"Barbra Emerson, a Principal Master Gardener and enthusiastic grower of both new and heirloom vegetables, will discuss concepts to consider when integrating edible plants into your ornamental garden or adding edible flowers to your vegetable garden. Her goal is to help you have fun and enjoy growing your own healthy food."
All Somerville Garden Club meetings are free and the public is invited to attend. Club member experience ranges from beginner to expert and have over 200 members. Please click here for more information on the Somerville Garden Club and scheduled meetings.
