Posted by Susie Callahan on Fri, Jul 17, 2015

Ten-plus international sculptors will compete for the Master Solo title by shaping 10 tons of sand into temporary masterpieces, and you can check out every grain of action. (Just don’t sneeze.) The weekend-long party includes a gourmet food truck festival, live music, and a fireworks finale.

"Last year, the event attracted over 600,000 attendees. At the heart of the festival is the Master Sand Sculptor Competition. Over the course of 4 days, over 20 sculptors invited from around the world compete for a prize.

The event also features a full entertainment schedule with live music, an interactive kids zone, fireworks, amusement rides and food trucks-truly an event that has something for everyone!"
