Duckling Day Parade in the Public Garden

Posted by Hillary Waldron on Wed, May 07, 2014

duckling dayThe Annual Ducking Day Parade will be held in the Public Garden on Sunday, May 11th.

"Every year, over 1,000 children and their families parade through Boston’s most picturesque parks, dressed like characters from the children’s classic Make Way for Ducklings.

Prior to the parade there will be plenty of family entertainment including face painters, a magician, and a puppet show. Goodie bag for all registered children.

The new mayor of Boston, Martin J. Walsh will continue the tradition of welcoming the ducklings in attendance.  Plus – the Knucklebones team will bring their wonderful play equipment to encourage duckling frolicking… while massage therapists will be offering free mini-massages for moms to take a moment to relax."
