"On the heels of unveiling details of his upcoming six-disc Basement Tapes Complete set, Bob Dylan today announced a 31-date North American tour that kicks off Oct. 17 in Seattle and wraps up Dec. 2 in New York."

Bob Dylan's greatest hits include 'Mr. Tambourine Man', 'Just Like A Woman' and 'Like A Rolling Stone'. His music and presence in pop culture has deemed him as one of the greatest and most influential artists of all time.

The Fray, known for their hits 'Over My Head' and 'How To Save A Life' will be visiting the Seaport District on Thursday, July 30th! 

"The band's debut album, 'How to Save a Life,'' resulted in two Grammy nominations – one for best rock performance for the title cut and one for best pop performance for 'Over My Head (Cable Car).' Their sophomore, self-titled album was nominated for best pop vocal album Grammy and for best pop vocal performance for 'Never Say Never.'"

The tour is aimed to promote their new album 'Helios'.

Although Billy Joel has been busy playing at Madison Square Garden, he will manage to get some tour dates in, which will include Boston, Quebec and Chicago.

Billy Joel's hits include "Piano Man", "We Didn't Start the Fire" and "Uptown Girl". He has won multiple Grammy's and has sold over 150 million records worldwide, making him one of the best selling artists of all time.

Tickets are still available through StubHub. If you can't make it to the show, neighborhood bars such as Baseball Tavern & Yard House might offer outdoor seating where patrons can hear part of the show.

Boston Calling Concert

Boston CallingOne of Boston's biggest concerts, Boston Calling, has just announced their line up for their May & September events. 

On May 23-25th, Boston Calling will be held at City Hall Plaza in Boston. The line up for the May concert will include Jack Johnson, Death Cab for Cutie and Modest Mouse. 

The National, Lorde, Nas with The Roots are just some of the artists that are planning on performing for Boston Calling in September. 

Guests for the events can get a one or three day pass, depending on their preference. Despite the weather last year, there were still thousands of concert goers who attended the event. Due to the line up this year, the tickets are selling out faster than ever so make sure you get yours today!

UMass Amherst's 150th Anniversary Concert

The UMass Amherst 150th Anniversary Concert will be on Saturday, October 25th. The concert will be held in Boston at Boston Symphony Hall

"The Multiband Pops concert will include performances by the University Orchestra, Minuteman Marching Band, Chamber Choir, Wind Ensemble, Saxophone Quartet, Jazz Ensemble and the UMass Dancers. The two-hour concert will feature nearly 600 student artists performing over 20 different musical selections, including eight lively numbers presented by the beloved Minuteman Marching Band."

2nd Boston Calling Music Festival

The Boston Calling Music Festival is back! The 2nd music festival will be on Saturday,Boston Calling September 7th and Sunday, September 8th. If you missed the first Boston Calling Music Festival, now is your change to get tickets and enjoy the show! 

The show will be similiar to the first Boston Calling Festival with two stages at City Hall Plaza and eighteen artists over a two day period! 

"Headlining the second Boston Calling will be celebrated indie rockers Vampire Weekend and homegrown electro pop group Passion Pit. Other artists on the bill will include hip-hop sensation Kendrick Lamar, rowdy Jersey rockers the Gaslight Anthem, R&B vocalist Solange (who was just in town for a party at the Institute of Contemporary Art), indie folkies Okkervil River, Providence alt-country favorites Deer Tick, and local synth poppers Bearstronaut. Also playing will be Local Natives, Flosstradamus, Major Lazer, the Airborne Toxic Event, Wolfgang Gartner, Bat for Lashes, Flume, Lucius, Big Black Delta, and You Won't."
