The Boston Local Food Committee of The Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts will be having their annual Hyper-Local Craft Brewfest June 14th & 15th. The Hyder-Local Craft Brewfest will be held at the Armory in Somerville and will promote various local brews such as beer & cider.
This event is a major fundraiser for Boston's Local Food Program which brings awareness to the benefit of having locally grown products. Aside from just having unlimited beer, there will also be local food vendors distributing samples and displaying their products for purchase.
"What’s more, Hyper-Local Craft Brewfest is a unique event that not only showcases local beverage producers, but also showcases local brews incorporating local ingredients! Examples in the past have included brews made with TAZA Chocolate, local hops, apples, cranberries, grapes and even local oysters! While having unlimited 2oz tastings from local brewers, you can also sample and purchase delicious local food from vendors like Q's Nuts, Valicenti Organico, Vermont Smoke and Cure, and more. To see our most up to date list of brew and food vendors, check out our webpage."
Eat Local. Drink Local. Be Local.
