Each year, the Boston area recognizes Earth Day with a number of events and celebrations. Here is a list of some of the upcoming family friendly events.
EcotariumApril 20
"Float, fly, and roll your way through fun experiences at the Ecotarium as you learn how things move across air, land, and water. Join in an Earth Day Festival celebration April 20 when admission will be half price.

Franklin Park Zoo

The Franklin Park Zoo observes Earth Day with Party for the Planet: Learn how you can contribute to a healthy planet and preserve the Earth. The festivities will include opportunities to meet the zookeepers, plus animal enrichment activities, scavenger hunts, entertainment, eco-friendly exhibitors and much more!

Rose F. Kennedy Greenway

Family activities on the Rose F. Kennedy Greenway include face painting, music, games, and food trucks. WalkBoston's Bob Sloane will guide walkers through some of Boston's best-kept secret lanes and recount some of the city's classic stories at 11 a.m.
