If you want to dial it down a notch this Valentine's Day check out Heartbeat at the MFA tomorrow, Thursday February 14th from 6p-8pm. A team of New England Conservatory students have banded together to take back Valentine’s Day—replacing greeting cards, stale chocolates, and overpriced roses with new music, a new way to experience the museum’s collection, and maybe make a few new friends. Take off your rose-colored glasses and soak in images and sounds from classic to cutting edge. The concert will include performances that pair music with objects from the museum that capture love’s many shades.
