Head over to the Roslindale/West Roxbury area for an easygoing, laid back kind of weekend at the Boston Artisan Market.There is a consortium on Spring Street that brings together independent local artists peddling unique, handcrafted wares. Drop in any weekend and peruse exquisite jewelry, fragrant soaps, eclectic paintings and more. Organizer Shirley Walsh also owns vintage store Kalembar Dune next door. While you're in the area, don't miss her collection of antique furniture, home décor, costume jewelry and other assorted baubles.
