Have you ever wondered who designed Mount Auburn Cemetery? Who were the remarkable Bostonians who shaped this new garden cemetery? If it wasn’t Frederick Law Olmsted (who was age 9 in 1831) who was it?
Join Meg Winslow to learn about the Bostonians who contributed to the design of Mount Auburn's picturesque landscape, the country's first designed landscape open to the public. They will visit significant landscape features within the Cemetery, as well as designs by the Olmsted Firm and Fletcher Steele among others.
