Bryan Owens Bryson is to unearth the facts around the popular claim that drinking red wine makes you live longer.
A PhD candidate in MIT's Biological Engineering program, Bryan focuses on cells' reception and transmission of signals with a particular focus on cancer and diabetes. He will discuss the science behind red wine as the fountain of youth: how it works, if it works, and what it means for scientists and red wine enthusiasts alike.
Talk will be followed by a wine reception. Red wine only, of course.
