"Steven Zevitas Gallery was founded in 2003 in Boston’s South End and operated as osp gallery through 2007. In September of 2008, the gallery moved to a ground level space that has brought added exposure and the opportunity to execute large-scale projects. Since its inception, the Steven Zevitas Gallery has privileged works on paper with an emphasis on abstraction. While this continues to be a strong vein of the gallery’s programming, exhibitions have and will continue to address a variety of media.
The gallery exhibits and represents artists from throughout the United States. Notable emerging artists who have had their first solo shows in Boston at the gallery include: Xylor Jane, Chuck Webster, Chris Ballantyne, Andrew Masullo and Jered Sprecher. Group exhibitions have included mid-career artists such as Thomas Nozkowski, Jessica Stockholder, James Siena and Chris Martin. "
