#621 A Tuesday Night Taste of France

I love the decor here! That and the food. It's worth checking out if you want to warm up with some good French cooking tonight!

Try to get to Petit Robert Central for their next Tasting Tuesday for beginning of the week pick-me-up. Every Tuesday, from 5:30-6:30pm, the Downtown Crossing bistro hosts a complimentary wine tasting, complete with mini tastes from chef Eric Bogardus. If the hors d'oeuvres, as they are wont to do, simply whet your appetite for French fare, you're welcome to linger and enjoy a three-course prix fixe menu (with wines) for $48 per person. The menu changes on a regular basis but recent renditions have included options like steak tartare with grilled garlic croutons and frisée salad; pan-seared Chilean sea bass and asparagus risotto; and baba au rhum. Call 617.737.1777 to let them know you're coming or to get details about the current menu.
