“ Philadanco’s dancers are a miracle of skill and energy. They work in a range of dioms most companies don’t even try to possess.”—Dance Magazine

Celebrating its 40th anniversary, the company will present the Boston premiere of By Way of the Funk, a new work by the founder and artistic director of Urban Bush Women, Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, set to the music of Funkadelic and Parliament, as well as other works.

Free preperformance talk 45 minutes prior to performance with dance critic Debra Cash.
Free postperformance Q&A with the company Friday, March 11.
