Sign up now for the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure! The race is on Sunday, September 29th in South Boston. Registration is now open to those who would like to participate. As many as 5,000 people are expected to gather in Joe Moakley Park to support the fight against cancer.
So far, there has been over $85,000 donated towards Sunday's Race For The Cure.
"Susan G. Komen Massachusetts is once again sponsoring the 5K race which takes runners, walkers and participants on a route where each step raises money to support the fight against breast cancer.
Race participants look for pledges from family, friends, co-workers, customers and more. Over the next 25 years, an estimated 5 million Americans will be diagnosed with breast cancer, and more than 1 million could die."
